This was just a joke of a fight. The only way they got away with it was by saying it was historic because it’s his third weight division even though everyone knows it’s complete BS.

It’s annoying because Canelo is a good fighter. He can put on exciting fights too. He is just Mexican boxing right now and gets his way for every fight and has the judges in his pocket. He has some good fights to be made at middleweight and he was going to waste his time on Lemieux even after this joke of a fight. Hopefully with Lemieux out of the picture, Canelo will fight Jacobs.

I admittedly don’t know what title is “real” or not half the time. It just doesn’t matter to me. I only reference belts as an excuse to get two people to fight each other in order to unify.
