Crawford can switch between orthodox and southpaw with ease. He’s a very clever fighter with great technique that has not looked small when he’s gone up the weights. And for a skilled boxer, he’s also got that spiteful streak in him , which is why he is one of the best fighters in World Boxing at the minute.
And yes, he hits hard enough.
I know @Master had answered your question, but I thought I would try to give you a bit more than some copy and paste from the BBC Sport website.![]()

Khan must be doing it to annoy Brook, nothing to do with actually winning the fight.

A peak Khan, however you want to interpret that from a few years ago could have conceivably dragged this out with speed and elusiveness and made Crawford miss enough to have at least a chance of a narrow points decision. Khan circa 2019 could be stopped very early. Khan has clearly lost the edge that gave him a get out clause when faced with a dangerous opponent. TKO/KO for Crawford is the most likely outcome but I would not put it past Khan to drag one more performance out of the fire and at least make it entertaining and competitive for a few rounds. Unlikely though.

Just imagine if Khan wins..
A peak Khan would have still gotten destroyed by Crawford. Khan had a few decent wins during his career but nothing great. Maidana was far and away his best win. Khan was in top form that fight and barely pulled it out. Crawford would stop a prime Khan probably late. Khan may win a few rounds, but he would be a giant underdog.

Arguably Khan will be Crawford's best win, certainly his most high profile. And Khan has always done great with boxers.
Just look at the guys Canelo completly and utterly outclasses, Khan gave him weight and held his own until the inevitable. Let alone the world-class fighters he's beat.

come on ffs. While I don’t have much of a problem with this fight , let’s not try to make out that he deserves it . Loads of fights on his record will be better wins than this.
And as for the Canelo thing, he didn’t do anything special and then got spectacularly KO’d as expected.

Pumping up Canelo in order to then pump up Khan.Totally unnecessary.
Canelo-Khan was the predictable plodder vs. boxer. Except this time the boxer had idiotically jumped up two weight divisions to meet someone who has made a career of coming in much heavier than his opponents..... and these are the ones from the SAME DIVISION.Credit to Khan for lasting as long as he did..... but it was like watching Teofilo Stevenson or an early George Foreman walking around with the right hand cocked and waiting for the mosquito to stay still.

Chris Algieri bullied, boxed and backed Khan in gaps. Chris I'm a nutritionist Algieri.

Take your personal feelings for Khan out of it then pick any fighter on Crawford's record who can boast a winning record of 9-2 against world-class opposition?
Canelo
Maidana
Zab
Paulie
Kotelnik
Garcia
Peterson
Alexander
Collazo
Barrera
Algieri
I don't care about "deserve" or even if Khan can win, I am merely pointing out he will be Crawford's biggest and best name. And contrary to what many claim, you quite simply can't beat that many world-class fighters without being seriously top-drawer yourself.
