I like Manny as a person. Do I mind or care whether he's Catholic? Hell no. Do I hate him due to his support of a candidate we may all have our misgivings about? No. Of all of us, only Manny was born and raised in the Philippines and only Manny has been aware of the conditions in the Philippines for the past few decades. I don't pretend to put myself in another man's shoes, especially when I'm not privy to the conditions he was born and raised in. At least the man has had the interest and initiative to put himself into politics. He's trying to better the way of life of his people. Is he backing the wrong man? Maybe. That doesn't make me hate Manny. All I've ever seen and heard is a well-spoken, humble young man who loves his people and wants to improve life in his country.
