@brucelee You can be my lawyer anytime.
Most interesting thing about that is seeing Roach at an Al Haymon event. Top Rank is cutting him out. For a long time all things TR ran through the Wild Card and that gym got a cut from a bunch of guys that just passed through there.

It is pretty clear now that Wild Card West, now Upchurch Boxing, and Abel Sanchez have phased out Roach and his gym. Freddie didn't do anything but the media workouts for this fight any way. I hope he saved his money because he's out.

Even though he regularly reminds everyone that he's a dick, I was still kinda hoping Broner might have some success in the fight. Win? Not so sure about that, but make an argument of it, maybe dump the old man on his arse at some point. It was an odd fight, Broner did what he does and sacrificed any chance of winning in an effort to distance himself from losing. I'm not saying he could have won if he tried, but trying would have been a good start. Manny was a bit weird too, flying around doing the Amir Khan running whilst punching routine, strange stuff. Broner's post fight antics would have been quite funny if it weren't for them being a bit tragic, he's clearly got a screw loose. In the post fight presser he was running through his usual routine about being hood and all that jazz, then there would be a pause in the questioning whilst John or Dave from weloveboxing.com prepared a shit question to fire at Broner. During those pauses I genuinely thought he might cry.

I noticed this in his fight with Floyd also. Is this new for Manny? I had never noticed this before in any of his other fights except for Floyd and now Boner.

Adrien Broner post-fight press conference: American threatens to ‘f*** up’ journalist after defeat by Manny Pacquiao

Adrien Broner threatened to “f*** up” an American journalist after having his belief that he beat Manny Pacquiao questioned.

The American welterweight lost a wide decision to the Filipino, landing 50 punches in the entire fight and displaying a conservative approach throughout.

And after landing one punch in the 12th round, ESPN’s Dan Rafael questioned whether Broner truly believed he won the fight.

“Hell yes, I won the fight,” Broner said. “When you believe you want cheese on that burger, you know what you’re looking for?

“Hell yes, I thought I won, yes, we got a love-hate relationship, I’ve got the mic, I’ll f*** you up. I really did believe I won the fight.”

Broner also insulted Showtime presenter Jim Gray, barking at him to come and interview him in order to make further excuses for the defeat.

“Bring your mother f****** ass over here, I got a lot to say,” the boxer said.

“They trying to get that money again with Pacquiao and Floyd but it’s cool, I ain’t worried about it I’m still that n***** man. I’m on top Cincinnati stand up, westside. Two-five."

Gray then informed Broner of his recent record, which includes losses to Pacquiao, Shawn Porter and Mikey Garcia and a draw with Jessie Vargas in his last seven outings.

Broner didn’t take kindly to the comment, shrugging off his mediocre record against the best in the sport and insisting he would beat the 60-year-old seven times out of seven.

“I’m 3-3-1 in my last 7 fights but I’d be 7-0 against you,” Broner added.

Pacquiao, still the WBA regular champion, looks set to face Floyd Mayweather next and not super champion Keith Thurman.

Manny Pacquiao ‘may have to retire from boxing’ after suffering eye injury during Adrien Broner victory

Everything seemed fine following the win on Saturday night, but Pacquiao woke up in great distress Sunday morning

Manny Pacquiao proved he still had plenty left in the tank with a comprehensive unanimous decision victory over Adrien Broner in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Straight after recording the victory that moved the Filipino senator’s record to 61-7-2, Pacquiao called for a money-spinning rematch with Floyd Mayweather.

However, according to reports, the boxing legend may have suffered a career-ending injury during his win at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

It’s believed that some of Pacquiao’s camp fear that the boxer might have suffered a detached retina. The 40-year-old reportedly complained of pain and vision loss in his left eye the morning after the fight, according to the New York Daily News’ Wallace Matthews.

Matthews also reported a different source in Pacquiao’s camp claimed the injury was a minor corneal scratch from the tape on Broner’s gloves.

Pacquiao is reportedly scheduled to fly home to the Philippines to see an eye specialist and if he is indeed diagnosed with a detached retina, that would not only throw a rematch with Mayweather into doubt, but his whole career.

The origin of Pacquiao’s injury reportedly stems from a minor corneal scratch from the tape on Broner’s gloves. Matthews cited a different source inside Pacquiao’s camp for that information.

Given the ease of Pacquiao’s victory – despite what Broner had to say about the outcome post-fight – it’s quite shocking to learn the injury he has suffered.

In the past two years, names like Beibut Shumenov and Anthony Ogogo have headed into retirement and semi-retirement respectively because of devastating eye issues.

One has to think a man with such responsibilities and many passions as Pacquiao wouldn’t want to risk his vision with another fight, should that be the case.

Until boxing orgs grow a pair and begin sanctioning useless bums like Boner for the shit they spew all over televised events, we're going to continue having mindless punks like this asshole.

By the time he's 40 he'll be (a) dead, (b) in prison, (c) some drunk, fat has-been sleeping under a bridge somewhere, or (d) who the f*ck knows or cares.

Damn has this been posted yet

spokesman for boxer Manny Pacquiao says the famed fighter’s Los Angeles home was robbed at about the time he was in the ring with rival Adrien Broner in Las Vegas.

Spokesman Mike Quinn confirmed the burglary to NBC News.

Los Angeles police said a burglary was reported about 4:15 p.m. Sunday in the Larchmont neighborhood. It was unclear if anyone was at home at the time.
