Silky Grove now that's a flashback! Quality skills. Last guy to fight in a tv 15 rounder. Still trying to figure out how he one-punched Jeff Fenech so brutally.

Ten years ago today............ one of my favorite fights of ALL TIME!

I remember being in a hotel room watching this fight and jumping all over the room like a jackrabbit as Margacheato was getting the CRAP beat out of him.

I was shocked at watching that beat down too. Very surprised to see Shane do what he did but kind of made sense when the news came out afterwards.

Running random but ended up on the 'title' run of Bruce Curry and had no clue how near if not over the edge he was over last number of fights. In and out of the ring. Shot is a strong word but he was clearly running on heart and pure instinct as a champion! He got tossed in early and had some wars with Brooks, Benitez and was wrecked by Hearns but apparently was pretty mentally scarred with extreme paranoia and violent mood swings early on. Actually a messed up tale of two brothers and levels. After this one he tracked down his trainer Jessie Reid at a Vegas gym and tried to fight him..then he brought a gun and tried to shoot him . Costello making his moment too

Everyone was writing him off but man how great it was to watch him beat down that guy. Still remember that fight was a great night and a good through back for the old guy back then love boxing.
