If they were thinking of ending the world this way,now while the USA is freezing would be a great time to strike. I doubt they are that stupid ,I think the next big one if nuclear will end the planet for all involved.

I imagine if there is a war, it will start with a huge battle in the South China Sea.

An all-out nuclear war would wipe out over 98% of life on earth, probably all humans. It would take the ecosystem millions of years to recover, new species would need to evolve. Some caves and deep oceans might retain some life forms, and everything would need to start over from that.

We are dropping out of missel treaties with Russia as China never joined them and has a shitload of short and intermediate weapons we can make and it’s said Russia cheats anyway. These conflicts in South China Sea are bad, it’s been international waters for centuries and the way China charges at our ships could easily lead to something bad happen although to be a naval ship commander you are the cream of the crop and won’t have a trigger finger. If you look at map China uses to claim that area it’s a map drawn up in the 1400’s or some shit that actually has that area as land, but in china, if the government says this is ours, everyone says OK.
