Why is kovalev a racist piece of shit

The only thing I know of is when he had his photo took of a kid wearing a t-shirt with a monkey wearing boxing gloves on it, In the picture I think he pointed at the t-shirt and captioned it with something like "I see the training is going well" and sent it to Adonis via Twitter...or something like that.

If that is all there is then it's hardly crime of the century.

I'd be interested to know what else he has done to get such a strong racist tag.

I see a couple people refer to him as racist piece of shit but nothing else occurred other than his kids tee shirt. I figure I’m missing something he said in an interview or pre fight hype
