Crazy.... amazing. What happened, for one and a half rounds I thought machado was the real deal and was in for an easy day. ... great work from cancio though he came back swinging and swinging. .. machado couldn't stop him..

Well done cancio a part time boxer with a full time real job got to love it when someone in that situation wins a fight like this, lovely. Well done cancio, I hope he gets paid well.

I hate fights like the Diaz fight. It’s just one sided and not really that entertaining. It might be entertaining for the first 3 rounds, but you get to a point where nothing changes and the result is in the bag.

Vargas has never been a great fighter. His weight class isn’t super stacked necessarily. They have a good amount of good fighters but no one great (other than maybe Rigo but you can never tell with him). I think he will lose once he steps up in competition though. He has struggled with lesser fighters too often.

Good job for Cancio. It looked like it would be an easy night for Machado, but Cancio showed grit and ended up making it an easy fight for him. I’m going to guess this will be his big win and won’t win another big fight. That’s fine though. He got his time in the spotlight.

Great to see a guy like Cancio win a title like that. Disappointed with Machado, although Cancio has always been a tough opponent. He holds a with over Rene Alvarado, so if Machado doesn't force the rematch, then a rematch with Alvarado could be in line.
