Get a top opponent then try to get Loma or go away. I hate watching fighters waste their careers. I don’t care that it was last minute the Mares fight would have been a walk in the park too. Choose someone that can challenge you.

Rumor has it he is fighting the same guy that Mayweather fought in Japan as an exhibition. That Japanese guy is making bank for going into the ring just to get destroyed.

That would be a new low. Last night was definitely a rebranding and reintroduction for him of sorts. The solo ring walk with that awkward smile alone. But no need for gimmicks and garbage exhibitions if you're supposedly a future elite boxer who struggle to make weight.

"Gervonta Davis Will Face Former Floyd Mayweather Foe Tenshin Nasukawa In An Exhibition Boxing Match"
Well hell. What else to expect when Floyd is Davis's promoter...
Honestly. It's one thing for Floyd to join the circus in order to keep his name in lights. He already HAD his career.
Quit F*CKING around with someone who's just starting out. This is beyond ludicrous and someone should put a stop to it.
Floyd, if THAT'S what you're gonna do with boxing, kindly get the F outta Dodge. Thanks.![]()
I don’t really get it.. why would the Japanese kids promoters go along with this? From everything I know top fighters over there can make good money without competing in freak shows. If they see him as a potential earner with a future, putting him in a consecutive circus mismatch is horrible handling. He’s 20 years old and has never fought above 126 in his own sport, which certainly isn’t boxing. Davis also won’t make anywhere near what Floyd did, you’d have to think less than he would for just a credible fight in his own sport and country. Maybe this Tenshin guy isn’t actually interested in fighting for a living and everyone involved just wants a chunk of cash for showing up![]()

His next fight is in Japan against the guy Floyd beat.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.

If it actually happens, which I'm not quite convinced it will, it's mishandling of the Japanese kid as you said. But it's also a black eye for boxing, because Gervonta is one of boxing's brightest rising stars. He just demolished Hugo Ruiz in impressive fashion and who cares if people start avoiding him.... he can't be avoided forever. We don't need these sideshows that all they do is waste precious time. I place the blame squarely on Floyd's shoulders, who again, if the fight actually happens, should be questioned as to his motives. Surely it's not money. He hasn't had enough time to squander away his millions. If he truly wants to promote, go for it. But don't drag a young, rising star to the same circus you apparently enjoy after having wrapped up your career. Just as puzzling that Gervonta would actually go along with it. Maybe in a strange kind of twisted logic way, Floyd wants to "legitimize" his own circus fights by having a current star follow his footsteps (??).![]()
