Red Dead Redemption - anyone playing ?

Really looking forward to playing it once I get a PS4. Don't even have a big telly at the moment. The front room TV died after 17years of solid service(Mrs is a bit of a telly addict).

The old CRT TV lasted a long time.

No it was a flat screen. HD too. That is how old we are, just think there are adults now who never saw SD analogue broadcasts or a world with no Internet.

Flat screens have been around that long? You make me feel old.

I changed from crt to flat screen in 2009.

That was a big lcd flat screen that still weighed a tonne. It’s in the garage now.

It'd be nice go out and Rob a train only for Morgan to get home and put his feet up to watch a bit of Corrie

I think this game, despite its riveting story telling, has put me off of gaming completely. I haven't bought a game or touched my Playstation since finishing this. All that riding along only to pick up an object or what have you destroyed any semblance of fun and I think I have been traumatized by it. The good thing is that I am back up to a book a week and I don't really do 200 page thrillers.

Just reading that Days Gone is 24 hours approx for completion. That's more like it for me. Can be done in a couple of weeks. The red dead play time went a bit too far but at same time can't argue re vfm.
