Not confident, but backing Soto in this one.

Ok this is bad. Hearn is scrapping the barrel in a battle of recyclables with this hoping to fatten Rios up to be massacred at 154 to follow. They just don't belong anywhere near 154+.
Some fight on just now, Cordova v steve corino. Cordova stands weird, pretty much square to the guy, sort of working for him here but someone will ko him pretty easy... maybe even corino.
Bloody hell they are playing daddy Yankee at a Mexican boxing event..... they need to fire the dj..
Also some boxing going on. Cordova got the decision, now hector tanajara fights a geezer who I think makes.makes his money with ms13 by the look of him.....oh fight over, I think it's stopped due to a head but cut
Some strange goings on, ref takes a point off for a headbutt. Doctor stops it due to cut by head but, so they call it an accidental head but and it goes to the scorecards. Guy who was head butted won anyway so it's just a bit odd.... all judges score it 40-36 so no point deduction given :S sergio mora claims he doesn't know what the score should be as he doesn't have a calculator
Started watching Dirrell card and forgot this. Soto has logged some quality years. I see Bam Bam has packed his bags![]()
I only found about this fight Saturday night. Excellent scrap. Happy for Sotto. Kinda happy for Rios too, since he should know now to never set foot in the ring again!
I love these fights though, as bad as they appear on paper, I think they are what boxings all about. Kinda reminded me of the Tua Barrett scrap a good few years back.

The beauty of boxing is that it is all about levels. Most of the best fights are between undercard novices or over the hill veterans.
As long as people are well matched, they produce good fights. It doesn't matter what level they are
Promoters are now so scared of a loss, they produce terrible mismatches - which bore fans and don't help their fighter improve!
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
Well said X. Can't deny I look at Rios and his career missteps with a bit of bias, meanwhile many myself included overlooked a constant true professional who arguably saved one of his most disciplined performances for one last big shot. Soto has earned everything he has and younger softer ranks coming up now could learn much from old pros.
And Joe Cortez still screwed him over in bogus 'DQ'.
