Possibly. But clarification would be nice because I think you might be being a big fat liar.
Your adjectives are all off key. It was all pretty cut and dry in the thread it happened in. Not looking to hang you for it but think it was rather unfair.

Don’t be going all coy now. I don’t think you learned a single thing from the potential thread in question. Please, hang away.

Nothing to be coy about, Buttercup. People know the deal as they do with other situations. My thread has been won and my mission is accomplished. 3 votes to 1 and that is all that matters. You have to be yourself, I do not.

The worst mistake I ever made on this forum was nominating Kirkland for FGOTY. He has taken it hostage and the authorities here have shut down any threads about FGOTY. We all make mistakes. I am human too. Occasionally. I would never work for the BBC. Plus their adverts these days say I am the wrong color. They do not not what they are missing as I would make excellent tea. Sorry Alan, you went back to backstabbing central. Aha!

Too many things that make no sense to me to respond seriously.

I'm glad you won your thread though

No mention of Sweeney's courageous confrontation of the Scientologists with blood on their hands then (other than your fake news edit not mentioning the source of his anger). No mention of him uncovering Mugabe mass graves. No mention of the Cot death investigation or his uncovering the links between Trump and the Kremlin. All you have is the same PC based outrage that you claim everyone else has but nobody on this site has ever manifested. He hurt your feelings because he said bad things about your boyfriend . Can you not see the Irony of your invented outrage?

You are right Miles the unashamed censorship at the beeb is off the charts. You are talking about a channel that for the last 4 years has ripped into Corbyn and Labour with their invented anti-semite bullshit invented by the Ashkenazi and your Tory idols Walter Softee Ress Mogg etc and have a nightly politics show run By Andrew Neil ( from the boy band Trump/Bannon/Neil/ Farrage) that repeatedly gave Tommy the absolute Cunt a platform for his right wing money scam and now has another one of you bum chums onboard. For a socialist like you, oyu should be outraged...prick

Did Sweeney actually say that he went for a drink with a working class guy that was in the Newsnight green room 'much as you would a cannibal from the amazon?'.

I've seen the video in the other thread but I really don't know what to believe. If he really said that in that context, and the other things too, and its not some trick of editing, then I'd quite enjoy smashing his face in myself.

What have the BBC said? I can't find anything on it. Is he being investigated?

I'm not being facetious by the way. This thread and the other one, are the first, and only, places I've heard anything about this.

I voted no and I believe it will be investigated.

Literally all I can find is -

The BBC strongly rejects any suggestion that our journalism is ‘faked’ or biased. Any programme we broadcast will adhere to the BBC’s strict editorial guidelines. ‘Some of the footage which has been released was recorded without our knowledge during this investigation and John Sweeney made some offensive and inappropriate remarks, for which he apologises. ‘BBC Panorama’s investigation will continue.

That can't be it? He 'made some offensive and inappropriate remarks, for which he apologises'.
So they aren't even saying he was stitched up? They accept he said those things but dismiss it with the briefest of mentions?

Am I seriously missing something here?

You have missed nothing, Ryan. The mainstream media and the BBC are so full of hatred for Robinson that they will sweep it under the carpet. They have probably lost a lot of revenue though.

Lol at Beanz coming to the rescue and also ignoring all the errors Sweeney made because he too has launched nothing but invective at Robinson. Never once giving credit. The BBC is biased and this is another example of it.

Anyone else would be sacked for colluding with hate groups, abusing groups of people and swilling with the expenses card. Guess it is normal for them.

Also Beanz you as usual attack the poster rather than the issues. Did I too not complain about anti Labour bias? My issue is with the BBC and their agenda making. They should not be taking public money and criminalising people considering their agenda based discourse and incredible lack of respect for the money people have given them.

So what? Have you never broken the law? You have owned up to brawling and drugging. It's a weak stick to point just because you have never been caught. Robinson has been candid about his arrests and a lot of it was obviously political. That doesn't explain why Sweeney feels the need to do things in the way he does. If he has done this this time then how many others? When a plagiarist is detected, you start to question the entire body of work.
