I would like to see Errol show a little more devil in his work, he has big power and should let it go more.

Spence is just that good and too big. If they were the same size the fight would be much different. Spence fought a perfect fight. He had the perfect gameplan. He wasn’t going to allow Mikey to get in and counter.

Spence was that good.
Garcia was not that bad just out of his weight class at least he was not flattened and took the beating especially late on. Spence carrying him in the last round was just him playing it sensible and safe.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
i've watched the fight a couple times now and was pretty surprised by robert garcia asking his brother in the corner to close the gap and push spence back so early in the fight. that seems like a panicky decision.
that let spence keep mikey out on the end of the jab and just step back every time he tried to load up a punch. heres spence tripling up on a jab in the first round which he would do often for most of the fight.
mikey pivots on the third jab and makes it whiff by a couple feet. what pivoting does, is take you off line, which when a guy is doubling and tripling up on a jab, he needs you to stay nice and put right there in front of him for a little while. no pivot, means you never move off line, and he just gets to hang you out to dry in that same old spot forever.
now, what trying to get close and push spence back like robert garcia was asking for in the corner does, means no pivoting, and that means, no boxing. it was always going to be tough to beat errol spence. but it seems to me asking mikey garcia to just plod in and give up all his good boxing makes it impossible.

Spence is that good. Always was.

Spence wasn't carrying him in the last round, he was tired from chasing him all night, his output was well above the norm, and his No.1 asset is his bodywork, even in the amateurs he was a relentless body attacker.
The only reason Mikey went the distance is he didn't try to win. Super talented fighters have always been the best survivors when needed.
