So he'll essentially be going head to head with the one he was just trying desperately secure a deal with and baring a fiasco can see him standing center ring with Usyk talking up a showdown with AJ 'no need to wait around if Wilder won't fight' etc. leverage he might think. At least the two main events are a contrast, can't see Breazeale lasting long while Usyk may box Takams ears over the distance.

Don't get me wrong I like hard match making but Usyk could have had someone that would crack.

Perfect would be Breazale but given that can't happen why not a Christian Hammer type?

Takam isn’t awful but isn’t good either. It is a decent first fight at HW though. He should get in some rounds and get used to someone bigger. If all goes according to plan, he should step it up pretty big the next fight.
