If you are talking p4p, then maybe, but if you are talking in actual terms, then I don't think so.

Even though Hearns is taller, RJJ is physically bigger & stronger.

RJJ is probably even quicker than Hearns & I think he would be too strong for Tommy.

As said previously, Tommy didn't have the best success against elite fighters (Duran excepted & he was past it) & RJJ was an elite fighter.

I take Roy to KO Tommy in about 8.
duran wasnt past it because had one hell of a fight with barkley in 1989 one of his best performances plus before he lost to hearns he had just lost close decision to hagler and didnt he beat davey moore in 83 ??
I love Tommy to death as afighter...But you guys have to be on the piss if you think Tommy would beat Roy in his prime No F*&king way!!!!!

I know this is hypothetical scenario but people C'mon Roy peaked at 168-175lbs...Tommy was a Welterweight 147 Moved to Junior Middle 154 then Middleweight 160.....Roy is the naturally bigger guy and was Knocking out bigger guys....Ok you Forget that Roy had one punch KO power as well...Not to mention Roy was a More superior athlete than anyone in his prime meaning Between reflexes, speed, power, elusiveness...he would have all that over Tommy along with being the Physically bigger guy....

Not to mention they fought about a 15-20lb difference apart in there primes....A cute thought but no way Hearns beats junior not even PFP...

I like how people love to point out the destruction over Duran...Yes Duran is a legend..Do you remember that Duran love to come forward and was giving up 6inches to Tommy and a God awful reach disadvantage...

I debated a similiar subject 2 weeks ago with this guy Dennis when he said Tommy Hearns would beat Gerald McClellan....I said no Gotdam way not in this lifetime or the next..I mention the Logistics on the weight and overall physical disadvantage Tommy would be at...Not to mention Gerald had a cast iron chin and Oh by the way is regarded as one of the hardest hitters EVER in Boxing history...Then he used the Duran KO as an example....Yea Woopdy DO!!!!!! lets see a 6 in height disparity reach disadvantage...During the Referees instructions in the middle of the ring it Looked like Rocky was looking up at Drago or a highscool senior staring down a 5th grader in a school yard!!!!! I asked him how the heck was he going to utilize the same strategy seeing that Gerald is an inch taller and had a hell of a reach himself.....
