Exactly, it's not just the most lucrative it's the biggest and best defining fight in the division. If you polled the general public, Golovkin vs Canelo-Jacobs winner would win by a landslide.

Some people confuse personal preference with wider opinion.

Instead of blaming Golovkin and Canelo the finger should be pointed at Charlo and Saunders and Andrade and the like. If they fought each other the public profile of the victor would rise, which inturn would greatly enhance their chance of landing the jackpot fight.
