Jacobs the moral victor by pts but losing a split decision.

I think it will be like the GGG fights. Jacobs deserves the nod but Canelo gets the decision.

Agreed. Alvarez by popularity. Jacobs holds is own, though.

Id like to see Jacobs do well, but I think he may be on the slide, and Canelo do3s keep getting better. My money is on Mexican tacos.

Jacobs for me, but I do not trust the judges. Jacobs should be able to stick and move well enough and land his share of power punches along the way. Canelo will flurry and try to edge rounds his usual way. I really want to see Canelo on his arse, but he is slick and has a great chin. I hate to say it but it has echoes of a Celtic James Toney.

James Toney was far more skilled and talented.

As much as I hate admitting it, I really keep getting the feel that Canelo takes it. I just think he'll start well enough but again get touched too much along the way and won't do well with the left hook to head and body of Canelo. I'd love to see Danny crack that big orange speckled melon off those long 1-2s and leave him looking at the lights but I can't get away from thinking the spring coiled nerves and slight tendency to get caught in the mix catches up to him. May change mind tomorrow .

Comprehension. Chin. Canelo has a great chin, he seldom gets hurt. Otherwise agreed, Toney was the far superior fighter. Canelo is canny, but does not have Toney level ring IQ.

Particularly, defensive wise, whereas, JT later years relied on countering for offense, Jacobs is more aggressive like the younger Toney. That is where Canelo takes advantage.
And I don't think either is in decline. Just a great matchup, IMO for 2 guys who aren't past it....just yet!
