It is a system of propaganda and indoctrination and that is why people like Robinson and Co. are being shut down as people have been waking up to it all. Brexit was NEVER meant to be voted for. I think by now though more people are waking up to the media, but in saying that the indoctrination process is strong in the UK and many still listen to the media despite its obviously manufactured quality. Not everyone has read Manufacturing Consent, but I am sure you have debunked that one too in some thread or other. So yeah, it is an uphill struggle for them.
