From someone else maybe, you cannot deny using monkies and chimps in jokes has often been racist. It's not like idiots who demand the right to reinstate gollywogs and insist they are not racist or the stupid 'oh his grandad was black' etc, and he has black friends so he can't be racist.

The racism from Asians often takes my breath away, in fact you have to laugh at the stupidity of it.

I have seen no more or less racism from Asians than any other group. Do you have a lot of racist 'Asians' in Plymouth? Now, I have seen racism and it does exist, but I am curious to know about the racism that 'often takes your breath away' because I certainly do not experience very much of it.

I have never claimed to be an expert and certainly never claimed to be a big businessman. What a crock of shit.

When I worked at the University as a student support worker I was self employed on quite a modest wage when I work for newspapers as a freelance correspondent again self employed, film maker, photographer all self employed but as a carer as well I am never going to be rich. Its not even complicated, I have worked as a laborer, decorator etc too again self employed. I am not the feckless lazy twat you wish I was.

Given the craziness of the post, if interpreted in the way the majority have, and Baker's standing I just can't believe he meant any racist intent at all. Even the most idiotic of racists with a couple of hundred followers would think twice about posting that on Twitter let alone a public figure who works for the BBC.

If she wasn't mixed race it wouldn't be an issue and I didn't know myself till late last year she was mixed race when I saw her mother (don't pay much attention to royals or watch weddings etc). I'd watched Suits from the start and just though she was a classy, olive skinned bird who was worth one.

Would be interested to see if that image has been used before by others on twitter for a different intent.

The only other thing I could think of is the time the post went on - was it late at night when he could have had a skinful and was hating life ?? Not that it has to be late at night to have a skinful but just a thought
