Slim my brother, myself coming from the land that created both kinds of barbecue (Eastern [whole hog & sauce is vinegar and spices] and Lexington [shoulder only & sauce is ketchup and/or molasses with various spices] style...there are no others that I recognize) which take hours and hours to cook I wholeheartedly despise gadgets which say they'll make "quick" fixes in the kitchen.

Your grandmother would probably say the same as my grandmother "You can't rush/hurry perfection"

You can definitely taste when time, effort, and LOVE goes into cooking....and you can taste when something has been made with an "air fryer" too

Perfect call!
