Having metal tubes wedged down his throat to pump all the crap out of his lungs for hours a day while he was recovering from having half his face melted off and then being back in a car competing after a couple of weeks was something else.

No idea and thought this just happened before checking. I can't imagine 3rd degree burns to the face and what's amazing is he didn't lose eyesight and more so his sanity. Went right back to what he loved doing in life. You just can't deny an individual their passion and frankly driving-racing is an addiction of sorts. Rip Sir.
