Bet365 has ruis 125/1 for the first 2 rounds then 150/1 thereafter. The combination round odds don't work out maths wise as good value, so I just had a £ a round.
18/1 Ruiz by ko , hmm may go for a late win at those odds.
Ruiz does have a good chin and engine £20 on that isn't a bad flutter.
Ruiz doesn’t have great power though. I just think that there’s no way Ruiz wins. I don’t see the knockout and even if he bests AJ, he won’t get the decision
Either he hits hard or Joshua is dodgy around the whiskers.

Joshua's last bad performance as such was Takam. I think he needs a full camp focused on one fighter to fight well.

His chin is fine. Got up from wlad who puts people to sleep and recovered Vs whyte

Truth is your chin is only fine until the point that it isn't.

Ffs I didn’t wake up and missed it.

Just watched now but knew result.

Amateurish from Joshua when he went for the kill in round 3 but fair play to Ruiz, didn’t give up and stood his ground.

AJ was gassed and out of ideas - maybe he never recovered from that first knockdown - but he quit at the end and didn’t want to go on.

Like it how Hearn assumes the rematch will be in the UK ??

Only the greatest of heavies have come back from ko losses and re established themselves. IMO AJ is not in that league but he could prove us wrong.

He’s lost something over the past few fights we all saw it. Tonight it was exposed

I agree , everyone he fights now will be winging bombs at the static chin.

I can't stop watching it. Fuck me. Not every day you get an upset like this in the heavyweight division. I nearly didn't watch it too.

After the third round he was fucked. Just pawing away with that jab. I've got to think Ruiz is favourite for the rematch.

The 3 piece close combos got Joshua repeatedly. AJ jab was on but he was tossing singles and over thinking it. Big Hoss landed the clean double left hook pulling back that initially sent him reeling.

Out of the three, Fury is the most mobile and too crafty to get caught like that against Ruiz.

Ruiz can do the same in a rematch against Joshua. Fast counters and toughness wearing Joshua down.

It was a great display and people say short notice for Joshua, but what about Ruiz? It was great to see a HW throw several punches after being hit and just keep on driving like he did. Joshua did keep getting up, but he likely knew he would keep going down had it continued. His head doesn't move and those hands were doing a Calzaghe on him. He was kind of Lacy'ed in there.

I was shocked when I heard it in the morning. I thought it was a formality and did not think it was worth staying up for.

He certainly won't be going to Miami again. The lovely weather and "environment" are a little different to Sheffield.
