Sanchez did well to make the bell, tough guy who stepped it up. Valdez loaded up near end but should be pretty wide scores across.

The issue is that I think that Valdez’ broken jaw might have ruined his career. He is fighting much more defensively which has changed his style. A huge reason he was good was because of his style and his ability to out fight his opponent. The problem now is that he is trying to box more which he isn’t near as good at.

I understand from a health and longevity stand point it’s better for him to fight the way he does now, but I just don’t think he will reach as high of level as he would have.

. No doubt when stakes are raised and the heat intensifies he'll match fire with fire and have to. Ok to see a guy hone some strengths he's gotten away from, more tools more options. But I'd also love a fire fight with Santa Cruz.
