Junior Witter-Demetrius Hopkins possibly on HBO next month

Honestly...I don't think that Demetrius should be taking this type of fight this early in the game.

I'll be happy as hell if he pulls it out. I think that he's got all the cpabilities of a World Champion...except one thing...experience.

I think he's a little young in the grand scheme of things...but he's been progressing with each showing ever since the first time that I saw him

I hate to look at the down side of things...but I think that D-Hop get's outboxed by Junior...but the Hopkins's have proven me wrong before...maybe they will prove me wrong again.

I like Hopkins in that one. Junior Witter is a poser IMO . He just trying to act like Chris Eubanks, but don't have the talent. Witter is a boring watch .

I think D Hop has what it take to win this fight.Hopkins just can't let Witter bullshit him. patience and swift attack at the right moment will get the job done. I look for D- Hop to knock Witter out late or win a DEC. . Witter style of Defense first wont impress anyone in McAllen Texas, let me assure you, the fans there will be tossing bottles in the ring if he starts all that posing and bullshit , .

Witter's style isn't one that a prospect should really face and I don't think Hopkins hast he experience to deal with a style like that, and Hopkins isn't world championship level yet, he still has yet to beat someone in the top 20 at 140 and throwing him in with someone the level of Witter and the style of witter would be suicide. Hopkins needs to beat some top level 140 pounders before he's thrown in with Witter. because otherwise its too fast too soon for him and I really see potential in the kid, but he needs to take his time, how old is he? only 23?

A fighters gotta jump in the lake at some point. might as well be on HBO for the WBC Championship. I mean a fighter could lose to anyone or look bad. when you get your shot you need to take it. Hopkins is 24-0 its time to mix it up a little . Witter has not really fought great fighters , his ledger is shit for the most part. Zab Judah took Witter to school winning nearly all the rounds. . This is a good fight for Hopkins in my opinion . very winnable fight for Hopkins

I would rather watch grass grow ,then Junior Witter sit there and posture all night long, like he did in his last fight. Hell no ! I think D Hop should beat this guy any day of the week ! but We will see I have been wrong before .

In the end...I think that Witter is gonna be to mobile for Demetrius.

Hopkins (D-Hop) is just coming into his own...Witter is (as SSSP said) just the wrong style for Demetrius at this time.

Demetrius hasn't faced anyone that throws out angles like Witter does. Most of Hopkins's opponents to date have just been right in front of him for the duration. Witter aint that easy to hit.

I hate to pick against a Hopkins...but I'll have to for this one.

I dont think Witter is boring like Ruiz boring.

He floored N'dou like 3 time in their fight (And regardless of what the main article says, N'dou was a top 10 fighter at the time).

Plus as Majesty says, he made Corely stop fighting and wasnt out boxed or made to look bad for any part of the fight.
Bad dosent include posing BTW

apparently not gonna happen, Witter's nowhere near weight and his shoulder's a bit messed up.
