You SOB someone was selling one of those on a local site for 250. Could have got him down to 200. I wish I had. I have one Rado. It’s from the 70’s really like it. Rados are so ugly they are cool. Do you get that Rado serviced @Dark Lord Al how are the Mercedes watches? Do you Dive with it? What’s it rated for? I know nothing about Mercedes beanz watches
By the way I was browsing amazon last night and saw a few more automatic seikos at 40 bucks. New as well. Seiko does have a few 2-4 thousand dollar watches they are supposed to be phenomenal and give Rolex a run for the money but Rolex is so stupid now with prices and weight lists they make absolutely no sense.
A Sekonda. Cost £20 has lasted me years. Stainless Steel? Pot Metal? It is silver in colour and metal. Glow in the dark hands and number markers which is useful at times and the battery lasts about two years usually.
I have no idea about Mercedes Beanz eitherHad a look at a MERC last year but crap boot space not big enough for a wheelchair so probably going to get another used Mazda next year, or possibly a Beamer because the boot space is mahoosive and the grandskids love the idea of a 7 seater.

I do like watches. It's weird, I don't really care about clothes, shoes or any such normal collectibles .... but I will always stop and look at watches in a shop window.
Actually, I only have one nice watch, which is this one .....

If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
😃 The 2 outside bezels around the face are essentially a slide rule, so it was really a watch with a calculator on it before digital watches or phones came out.
Breitling are marketed as pilots watches, which is just a load of bollocks really. Nice looking watch, heavy and well made, so I just always wanted one.
Still can't fly a fucking plane though

I have a Sekonda which is 22 years old not changed the strap once and battery changes every 3 years.
I bought an expensive one and have to wear it on special occasions but not expensive that I have to insure it.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Seiko kinetic which is still going strong and a Swiss Army Victoinox
