Bernard Hopkins was young but no where near his prime. He was a late bloomer. In a (Tarver Hopkins) pre-fight interview Hopkins said it best when he said Tarver didn't fight the same RJJ that he did and RJJ didn't fight the same Hopkins that Tarver was about to.
For me, that basically raps up the whole "yeah but RJJ beat Hopkins argument"
