Used to be I didn't care who won. Now the more I read the more I'd love for the 2nd fight to end just like the 1st fight or worse.

I was rooting for AJ to win the rematch destructively because I want the AJ/Wilder fight to happen. But Eddie is such a constant lying dirtbag.... Hard not to root against all his fighters. In the end I will root for AJ, but phony AJ and Eddie make it hard.

Lewis had to sue Rahman to force him to honour the rematch clause. The fact he won, which cost Rahman millions, would suggest Andy/Al Haymon will be doing this fight.

One of Lennox arguments for the immediate rematch was that he was near the end of his career and had Manny Stewart go on the stand to explain that to the judge.

Ruiz is just playing hard ball and I think eventually have the rematch once he gets paid an even huge amount than what is in his contract.

For sure, Ruiz - well, his army of managers/advisers/lawyers - is merely playing the game. Those figures ($9 million/$60 million) are clearly guesses made by the media, the actual contracts are never seen by anyone but the tiny group it concerns.

It's laughable to think multi-millionaire ruthless businessmen air their real business in public.

Lewis's courtroom victory was instantly hailed as a landmark judgment by his New York-based lawyer, Judd Burstein. "In years to come Lewis v Rahman will be the case cited in all such hearings," said Burstein. Moments after the judgment a shellshocked Rahman was asked his views as he made his way down the courtroom steps. "If I don't get the purse I want, I won't fight," he fumed. This, however, is one rematch the champion would seemingly be wise to avoid. "If Rahman doesn't fight Lennox I'll hit him with a lawsuit for $10 million damages," warned Burstein.

Aj getting nearly 7 times what ruiz is getting?

This pisses me off. I'm all for rematch clauses but no way a challenger should get more.

I like AJ but not a huge fan, and I'm liking the way ruiz is coming across. I also want to see fury school Joshua but it could be I start to root for Ruiz here - who I do expect to win still.

Ruiz can't start bitching now because he's already signed the original contract and agreed the rematch split $$ which is why I think he'll pull out and be stripped.

The figures are nonsense (unverifiable), click-bait, AJ won't be getting close to that amount.

1st fight - it was reported AJ got $35m to Ruiz $5 million (7-times more).

2nd fight - it is reported Ruiz will get $9 million, it doesn't take a genuis to multiply 9-by-7 - $63m. If Ruiz purse was reported as $20m these same fake guessers would be reporting AJ's is $140m.

This is what promoters do. It is almost there in the Job description. Arum, King etc were never any different.

Bottom line nobody outside of Ruiz, Joshua and their teams gives a shit about any of the shenanigans outside the ring. Who gets paid what... where the fight's held... and so on and so forth. Joshua's a likable guy, but is making a huge mistake by letting others run his show the way they're doing it.... regardless of what the job description says. His image is on the line.... and better to go down swinging in a rematch (or win and redeem himself)... than to be caught up in this (by now predictable in boxing) huge drama show... while the chubby guy across the pond is holding the belts that used to be his. No "shady decisions" here, ala Fury-Wilder, where it's still a matter of opinion who really won that fight. This was a good, old-fashioned beatdown... and by now Joshua should be willing to anything reasonable just for the chance to get Ruiz back in the ring.

    Again..... unless he's having doubts.

And I hate Arum and King. But you don’t HAVE to be like that. Al Haymon puts on big fight after big fight, I’ve never once heard the man lie. Shelley Finkell, never heard him lie. And so on. There is money to be made without being a scumbag. It’s in the job description because people don’t stand up to it, they smile at Arum while he lies to them, cowards looking for the next interview, losing stories that are right in front of them.

You're funny, very funny. You've never seen Al Haymon, let alone heard him speak. Not only are interviews and pictures forbidden but business associates are forbidden
to acknowledge they've met. He funds certain media outlets to constantly throw dirt at his competitors. Scumbag? His reputation is the most ruthless in the business.

And you meant to say - "he puts on in-house fight after fight." Hence PBC pretend Crawford doesn't even exist on their broadcast.

Some evidence of Fenny lying as usual

Took me all of 1 PBC interview to see them talking about Crawford. You’ll only be able to deceive the most uninformed of fans on this occasion. It’s okay Fenny, we all know why you don’t like Al.

Post a Al Haymon interview? Just one. Don't you understand how silly it is to claim Keyser Soze (an invisible man) is a saint whilst everyone else are sinners?
