Juan Francisco Estrada too much for Dewayne Beamon in ninth-round TKO
Dewayne Beamon made it interesting against Juan Francisco Estrada on Saturday night.
But the WBC super flyweight champion was far too good for the gutsy, game challenger. After dropping Beamon twice in the second round, Estrada unleashed a barrage of body punches and shots upstairs to get the ninth-round TKO and retain his title at the Centro de Usos Múltiples in Hermosillo, Mexico and live on DAZN.

Estrada started out hot early, breaking out of a clinch and dropping Beamon with a short left hook in the second round. Moments later, that same punch thrown in a more chopping fashion led to Beamon tasting the canvas again.
Although the challenger did a nice job of boxing to survive the round and actually landed stinging shots of his own to possibly generate some concern in Estrada's corner, the champion was in complete control, as evidenced by him leaning back with his right elbow on the ropes three times during the fifth round as he taunted Beamon and invited him to fight.
A phonebooth fight erupted in the seventh round before Estrada wobbled Beamon with a chopping right over the temple. Beamon began to fade in the eighth and Estrada (40-3, 27 KOs) simply asserted his will over the challenger in the ninth to collect his 40th professional win.
Could a title unification fight with WBA champion Kal Yafai or a rubber match trilogy fight against Srisaket Sor Rungvisai be next for Estrada?

Beamon made a good showing for himself. He isn’t that good but is athletic. Estrada was just too skilled.
i was having dadashev flashbacks with the punishment beamon was taking
