They are trying to turn Davis into a PPV fighter so there is no chance they will put him on an app nobody has. He needs exposure. 5 million now that costs you millions later is bad business. Make the fight where people will see it. Nobody cares about Farmer except his beef with Tank, nobody will watch Farmer unless he is fighting Tank. Tank is the guy everyone is calling for because he is in demand. Acknowledge this simple FACT and negotiate accordingly. Or don’t bother us with talk.

Farmer vs Tank is only good because of their feud. Farmer has been winning, but his competition hasn’t been anything extraordinary. To me, Berchelt is the top guy at 130. He is the one people should be gunning for.

Top guys need to be tested by like minded fighters and to date both are lacking there. They need each other and agree Berchelt is the 800 lb gorilla in the room that deserves to be right next to them. Farmer feels like he's in idle mode, very solid talent but he'd do better riding more Canelo undercards than headlining vs anonymous Frenchmen when it comes to exposure. Davis honestly is tons of talent yet to be fully realized. Some is his own doing outside the ring and he is also just hammering late sub nails and unknown mandatories fresh out of a witness protection program. Shame really, it could be a nice unification scrap.
