Hearn or no Hearn..... the fight is and will be an abject failure, widely criticized by all of the boxing world, and generating zilch interest from fans.
THAT....... I would guess... is the main point to be made.
Unless of course an upset were to occur (same as with AJ-Ruiz) but that will gain interest AFTER the fight rather than before or during it.
Honestly there's very few big time heavyweight fights which are interesting at present and all involve some mixture of: Wilder, Fury, AJ, Ruiz (gotta throw him in now too), and MAYBE 1 or 2 outsiders
The division needs Yoka and Hrgovic to get their rounds in and step up to the title contender status, those guys look like they can have some good fights vs the other contenders at present, but none of the title holders just yet I think 5-8 fights (depending on how they go) at the contender level and they'll be ready. They need more rounds though and more experience/adversity during a fight.

Eddie Hearn blasted by rival promoter over criticism of Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallin
Frank Warren has fired back at promotional rival Eddie Hearn over his criticism of Tyson Fury vs Otto Wallin.
Anthony Joshua’s promoter declared earlier this week that nobody is interested in Fury because he’s taking easy fights and even claimed there are low ticket sales for the event.
In response, Warren told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast: “Well, you know, he’s always got something to say about somebody, hasn’t he? He doesn’t stop.
“He’s got enough on his own plate at the moment, he’s trying to resurrect his man who got badly exposed and he’s off to Saudi to do it.
“Always a pound note speaks for him and that’s where he’s going.
“He’s gotta keep everything crossed, he’s probably looking like Ben Turpin at the moment because he needs his man to win.
“If he gets beat again next time Joshua, then it’s all over.”
Warren has previously stated that he is confident Andy Ruiz Jr will repeat his shock victory over AJ when they meet in their December 7 rematch.
When asked if he stands by his comments, the promoter continued: “I do think that’s the case. He’s not taking the fight at five weeks’ notice.
“I don’t think he’s gonna look much different physically, but mentally to have had that win and mentally to have done it after only having five weeks’ notice, he’s gonna be in a better place.
“He’s taken AJ’s best shot, got off the floor, took the fight to him and obviously done him in every department.
“Out-gamed him, outfought him and then eventually stopped him.
“That is a big plus, you’re going into that fight knowing you have the armoury, the power, the handspeed to beat him.
“Joshua’s up against it. And that’s why I don’t understand why they’re in Saudi.
“If that’d been me I would have had the fight on in the UK so that everybody got behind Joshua, everything was in his favour, the crowd were behind him, the other guy was in hostile territory.
“And outside the ring you’re doing all you can to get all the plusses for the fighter, but they’ve grabbed the money and gone to Saudi instead.”

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Giving Fury one gimme fight is one thing, but two gimme fights are ridiculous. I understand that he wanted to fight Wilder but Wilder was already fighting Ortiz. Fury should have fought someone with some sort of name recognition. Having two no names opponents in a row is disgraceful.

Tyson Fury slims down for Otto Wallin fight and continues Mexican theme at Las Vegas weigh-in
Tyson Fury stuck with the Mexican theme ahead of the country’s Independence Day weekend in Las Vegas after once again donning a lucha libre wrestling mask for the weigh-in at the MGM Grand ahead of Saturday’s heavyweight fight.
Fury weighed in at 254.4 lbs (18st 1oz), the lightest he had been since he beat Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 (247lbs, just over 17-and-a-half stone).
It was nine pounds lighter than when he fought Tom Schwarz on his first appearance in Las Vegas in June, and just under the 256.5lbs he was against Deontay Wilder last December. Swede Wallin tipped the scales at 236 (16st 8oz).
The ‘Gypsy King’ has renamed himself himself ‘El Rey de los Gitanos’ for the MGM Grand clash, to celebrate the anniversary of Mexican Independence, and he once again wore a traditional Lucha Libre wrestling mask at the ceremonial weigh-in.
Having stepped off the scales Fury then grabbed the microphone to say, in an faux American accent: “In less than 24 hours from now Otto Wallin will feel the fury.
“Bob, get the steel cage out Bob (veteran American promoter Bob Arun) so this bum doesn’t run away.”
Fury may well be the overwhelming favourite – he is 25 to one on to win – against a comparative minnow but the 31-year-old does not feel the expectation to put in a performance.
“I don’t know much about Otto at all and sometimes that’s a good thing as when you know everything about an opponent it doesn’t turn me on like it should do,” said the 31-year-old.
“I don’t feel any pressure because they are only men with gloves on. I don’t feel pressure from any fight.
“It is going to be another Tyson Fury roadshow. It is going to be an entertaining fight, an exciting fight.
“I feel good, I feel fit, I’ve trained really hard. I’m in great shape and the weight is perfect. I feel sharp and rejuvenated and ready for a good fight.”
Wallin knows no one gives him a chance but is determined to not only make a point but embarrass Fury.
“They (the crowd) can expect a good boxer. I am well-schooled, I had a good background and I think I have what it takes to cause an upset,” he said.

Wow... it's on PPV, even.
We boxing fans whine and complain a lot about shit fights like these... but apparently enough people pay for these shams that they just keep on doing it.
Well..... at least Otto will now be able to boast that he once fought in a PPV fight.![]()
