I nearly started another thread titled “why are Boxers nowadays such Cunts and talk so much horseshit?”
It’s not just Wilder, although I’m surprised anybody still takes not of what the useless prick says.

Ahh back to boxing, hi power and Tito and master. Wilder didn't look impressive against many people. He has chutzpah to say HOF if retire today. If he fights AJ or Fury or a big few boxers, gets more active, and retires undefEated, he STILL wouldn't of had a chance at HOF.

If Wilder unifies the division, it’s hard not to put him in the HOF for just that alone. I say that not that I think he is good enough to deserve it, but that the HOF has a lot of people who don’t deserve to be in there. I know that people will disagree, but Wlad Klitschko is mainly in the HOF because of a weak division. I think if he were in a good era of HWs, he wouldn’t have been that impressive. He would have won some but lost the big fights. His record and accomplishments put him in though.

If Wilder beats Ortiz, Fury, and AJ/Ruiz convincingly, and unifies the division, it’s hard to keep him out just off the sheer fact that he would be an undefeated unified HW champion. It would be more off accomplishment than how good he actually was. Again, I don’t think that Wlad has any really good wins. I would say that he didn’t beat anyone better than Fury (he actually got beat every round basically by Fury). I’m not even sure who he beat better than AJ.

Gatti most certainly should be in the HOF, it's not specifically about THE best fighters, it's what they brought to boxing, the impact. Gatti was in about a million "fights of the year" and a million fights he took from the brink of stoppage to victory in one unbelievable punch.

His fight with Ruelas alone is enough.

Wilder doesn't deserve to be there yet but there are others there who you could argue shouldn't be.

As much as a fan I am of Barry Mcguigan - another fighter who, like Frank, captured the nation's hearts here - and is a top top bloke I had a bit of a problem when he got in the hall............

People forget that Wilder got a relative late start, not in boxing, but in fighting real opponents. He was being raked over the coals when he was 30-0 for fighting nobodies. So he's just recently stepped it up. Talking about the HOF when you've still got a ways to go.... including dispatching the other top guys in the division..... is crazy talk. But then Wilder is known for exactly that.

Call it a pet peeve of mine. But I'm against ANYBODY starting 30-0 against cab drivers and bartenders and then being all blustery about HOF and shit like that. It's undeserved and slap in the face to those who take on real challenges from the very beginning.

Agree and for that of same reason I think of Leon spinks fighting Ali in his 7th pro fight
