    Personally, I would possibly go for Manos de Piedra.

    He is remembered for his exploits in the 1980's, but he was slightly past his prime then and fighting guys bigger than him. He was easily the best fighter on the planet in the 1970's
    Then you should have entitled the thread greatest fighter alive today.

    I would say Tommy Hearns, he beat Leonard at Super middleweight and was a better p4p fighter. He smashed Duran too.

    Hearns.... Hagler.... Leonard.... Duran. All light-years more accomplished than Loma at this point in time.

    ..... and all still alive today.
