That is only if you consider every person a clone of every other person thus discounting the varieties of personalities and interests. I happen to think there is massive variety within any cultural group, but that tribalism is still an essence of who we are.

If you want to experience those things you suggest, then live in a major city, but I sense you will complain about that too like with ahem 'Baltimore'. You would likewise complain about countries to be lived in also. After all how would you know how 'plastic' a country is without living there or even speaking the language?

One can go to many places, but experience nothing. Where do you live and what do you do? You also didn't answer the question: Where is good?
