Hopkins will always have a special place in boxing for me & he was/is an amazing fighter...but...Ray Robinson did so much...the problem I have is that...Robinson went down hill after he hit 40.

The other thing you gotta factor is is that he won & lost & then won again the middleweight title two or three times towards the twilight years.

That speaks a lot for the man, IWO. The age that he did that...most fighters are either retired, dead, or just gone.

Gotta ask, for I have no idea... But did Sugar Ray beat anyone special after he had actually turned 40?? I thought he wen't downhill after his mid to late 30's..
