Really? God i must be old. Yes I remember the coal man and having a coal shed attached to our council house. I also remember the Rag and Bone man. Did you not have a Rag and Bone man come around with a horse and cart in Brum?

Quite a few of my family (Dad's mob) were rag and bone men, proper Steptoe shit, and I remember the coal fires/sheds in council gaffs too but they were blocked up after all the electric fires went in.
