Actually something similar happened to Joe Calzaghe... some say it was even worse during his amateur career.
calzaghe was fighting for the gold during the olympics and beating the shat out of the guy and had it go to the other fighter? If not...I don't think there's anything worse than that as far as amateur boxing goes....or did you just make that up?
