they have been using algorithms to help the ai learn to predict & form probabilities of how society will react. defund the police is really just a transfer to another form. with mass surveillance they will not need officers patrolling as they will be able to monitor from other locations & respond when they deem necessary. it will be presented as being more efficient at the expense of freedoms
