It is more about agency or lack of. People tend to hold themselves down by the choices they make. Thus I fully agree with someone like Candace Owens on this that black people, particularly those like Dennis are part of the problem as he seems to deny that black people have agency and the welfare state kind of endorses that as does affirmative action.

Despite group differences, there are plenty of black people thriving and growing and they would frown at Dennis and his almost black Israelite mentality. The first thing an alcoholic does is to recognise his problem and thus my stance is that if you want better lives for black people you recognize that maintaining a family is a starting point. Have a child with a capable Dad or else don't bother. It starts at home.

If like me you believe nurture and environment is important, then that is a start. Otherwise, stop having kids. It is not rocket science. All this welfare garbage...to perpetuate cycles. Own it.

I don't disagree with a lot of things on there, but fail to see where the first sentence comes from. Let's just say that I don't let data force me to pigeonhole people into neat little bundles. That's where all the trouble starts, IMO. The fact of the matter is there are driven, brilliant, accomplished people from all walks of life, colors, races, what have you. To hear you say "nurture and environment is important" is a new one to me. If you believe that, then I congratulate you, as it seems maybe you discounted those very same factors not long ago.

Denilson is Denilson, and the worst kind of racist. He professes to know everything about everybody, without having ventured out of his own backyard. He throws up the wall immediately so that there's no way on Earth you can crack it. He's got the answers even before you've asked the questions. I pay little mind to him, as I've confronted him before with GROWN-UP logic, and he runs away or chooses to engage others. Then he goes on his hiatus to go pollute other sites. As I've said before, if it's all real..... he's got some real problems.

Fatherless kids is a negative phenomenon we do not disagree on. Not only is it negative... it's a vicious cycle that perpetuates itself time and again, with little to encourage any other type of behavior.
