Yeah... a bit of derailment is par for the course on most threads around here.

One dead Iranian general is big news, but right now I'm sure the people of Australia and here in P.R. have a bit more pressing matters to think about.

Anyway, I hope the recent rains have alleviated some of the situation in Australia. Damn... you'd think these fires have to finally peter out sometime. What a mess that has been.

Haven't heard much from Andre lately. I hope he and his family are ok.

As for me, I'm grateful every day that we live in the part of P.R. that we live. The most we have to worry about now are the power outages that still come and go.

But that's nothing compared to the suffering by many in the SW part of the island, where aftershocks are still going on, and people are outside living in tents and sleeping on the ground. It totally sucks.

They say the aftershocks should last through the middle of next week. When it stops shaking it won't be a moment too soon.
