Eddie Hearns just spoke about the new boxing game (Fight Night 2020?)

I doubt ea would be making it, I know someone who developed champion and ea saw it as a really big bomb, which is a shame as their engine does a good job with punching in the clinch in ufc 3 game.. I sure Eddie could find some developers in eastern Europe to make one though, I wouldn't expect anything great though.

I don't think it bombed, Fight Night Champion actually did really well.

It sold a million less than the one before and they put a lot of effort into making the storyline mode for champion.. Ea were for sure not happy with how it sold.. I hope they do make another one as they could do a really good job.. But boxing fans seem to be declining in America so I don't think ea would put the effort in to make a new one after 9 years(especially and they can pretty much just copy and paste ufc games now)..

I wouldn't be surprised if Eddie finds someone else to make a boxing game though, the eastern euros really are getting good at making stuff and the cost is lower there too.
