I can’t imagine this stands. There will be a penalty and suspension, but he would for sure sue if they took his whole purse. But I do agree that it’s ridiculous that someone can take illegal substances and it not become near as big of a deal. Taking PEDs is much worse than just biting someone.

Agreed, and it's a singular offense as opposed to illegal substances being used for god knows how long. I'm not dismissing fouls especially a bite but honestly speaking this was not some raging shark bite ala Tyson or that one Francisco Lorenzo who did it in multiple fights. Redkach had his mouth opened in a clinch and put it on Danny neck, I don't even think he closed it. Maybe if they went after intentional billy goat headbutts and guys making an art of targeting sharp elbows on the follow through these fines and penalties would be taken more serious. I don't like the idea of a commission coming back behind the scene and making a decision involving life changing money to any fighter when there was zero acknowledgement in the actual fight.
