Woods gave a stirring display to defeat Glen Johnson and could now land a British super-fight with super middleweight king Joe Calzaghe.
4. Junior Witter - Light welterweight

Witter ended years of frustration by claiming the WBC title with some ease in September. Could a clash with Ricky Hatton now happen?
5. Scott Harrison - Featherweight
Glasgow (25-2-2, 14KOs)
Harrison has had a hard time of it outside the ring but has the chance to get back on track with a WBO title defence against Nicky Cook in December.
6. Enzo Maccarinelli - cruiserweight
Swansea (25-1, 19KOs)
Maccarinelli was awarded the WBO title without a fight but showed his class in wins over Marcelo Fabian Dominguez and Mark Hobson.
7. Nicky Cook - Featherweight
Dagenham (26-0, 15KOs)
Cook challenges Scott Harrison in December and the former British, European and Commonwealth champion should push him close.
8. Carl Froch - Super middleweight
Nottingham (19-0, 15KOs)
Froch was given a tough examination by Belfast's Brian Magee but could claim a Lonsdale belt outright by beating Tony Dodson in November.
9. David Haye - Cruiserweight
London (16-1, 16KOs)
Haye has a WBC title eliminator against Italy's Giacobbe Fragomeni in November and America's O'Neil Bell lies in wait.
10. Alex Arthur - Super featherweight
Edinburgh (23-1, 17KOs)
Arthur defends his European crown against Sergio Palomo in November and a world title shot could follow in 2007.
