But Kessler's people have begun stalling on coming to the UK, and have suggested the fight go ahead in Denmark.

I can tell you right from the start that's not an option, because Calzaghe is the draw.

It was his fight that was shown in full on HBO - they screened highlights of Kessler's impressive win over Markus Beyer - and because of his victory over Lacy, he's seen as the division's number one by the market that matters, America.

Joe's next title defence will be his 20th, which will equal Bernard Hopkins' mark and he deserves that fight in the UK.

After the Beyer win, Kessler - who is half English - indicated that he would have no problem in fighting over here, I just hope he now sticks to his word.
