El bump. Guess Russell Jr isn't the would be superstar he thought he was. This is a pretty solid fight on paper all things considered. Russell Jr has conducted his career like a bear spending half of his time hibernating. Still a very solid talented fighter but he has let it pass him by in large part waiting on a big fight to just fall gently into his lap. But he's meeting his mandatory here and lets just hope King Tug is catching him at an opportune time because he sure as shat isn't matching his natural speed.
Oh and Guillermo Rigondeaux in the co main. Talk about how the mighty have fallen. Came to us as one of the very best pure boxers early on and proceeded to be blackballed by HBO. Pick your poison style wise I guess. He's actually dropping down to 118 at the ripe age of 39tonight v Liborio Solis for one of those 101 WBA trinkets. Have to think Rigo will go out and actually look to mix it up at this point.
