An in-shape Fury schools Wilder in the early to mid rounds with focus and discipline, but then a Wilder right connects and a stunned Fury backs off. Wilder then presses the action and KOs the giant in the next round—maybe the 9th or 10th-- with a windmill shot (left or right) or a paralyzing straight ala Breazeale.. We know Fury can go down. We know he can get up. But so does Wilder and Mark Breland.

As we get nearer to fight night I'm leaning more and more towards Wilder.

Partly fear because I'm a big Fury fan and nervous but mostly that I just cannot see him NOT detonating that bomb on Tyson's chin at least once in the fight.

And this time I think once will be enough.

    I hope I'm wrong.

Joshua is a poor third behind these two for me.

Kenny Bayless is a referee who has a history of siding with and helping American boxers.

Glenn Feldman, Dave Moretti and Steve Weisfeld have all produced dodgy scorecards in the past, favoring home country the American boxer over the foreign fighter. So even if Fury survives the 12 rounds, which I think is unlikely, he'll probably lose on the scorecards regardless of how well he fights.

Wilder has a good ko percentage but it's padded with bin men and roads sweepers to be fair! Fury has shown the formula to beat him he was robbed if Fury can hurt Wilder he can stop him any guy over 15 stone can punch these are big guys anything can and will happen from being a dramatic to a boring fight sometimes rematches can be a disappointment .🤔

Watching the press conference. Fury seems to be under cover and in hiding in his and shades.

Wilder is dumb and seems nervous to me.

Lots of talk about adjustments from the experts. Stock line for a rematch I guess, air time or column inches won't fill themselves. Not going to happen is it, neither will do anything differently, they cant. Fury has talked the talk about going for the knockout, he wont, it's not who he is or what he does. He's made routine fights look competitive in the past due to his insistence on doing things a certain way. He's not going to change in the face of a bloke with a cannon in his hand. Wilder is Wilder, wont change, doesn't need to, doesn't know how to. I'm sure he's been working on his technical limitations over the years but it's been pretty much a waste of time hasn't it? Wilder is simple, turn up in shape, look for that right hand earlier in the fight and don't let Fury off the hook.

Fury washed into the first fight on a wave of all sorts of emotions that empowered him. The weight loss, the mental health issues, the young untested trainer, the diving in at the deep end after two low key return fights. He turned all those things on their head and put in a great performance and won the first fight, no doubting that. Lot's of parallels here. Two less than great fights against less than great opposition. For different reasons his mental state is being questioned what with the WWE stuff and essentially having one eye on life after boxing. Again a new training setup. The first fight he was on a hiding to nothing. This time around he expects and those who back him expect. If he could do that first time around a 'fully fit' Tyson will win the rematch easy.

After all that waffle you still come down to Fury points or Wilder KO right? I have a feeling Wilder will get the job done this time.

Yeah as a Fury fan I'm abit concerned that in a fight between an American and and Englishman in America they have 3 American judges and an American referee. No wonder Tyson says he needs a KO. However the same thing happend with Lewis and holyfield after the draw in their first fight and Lewis got a decision more comfortably than perhaps his performance deserved

In a true 50-50 fight the poll has it 10-10 and 1 draw.

Hagler v Leonard power punches v volume it's objective boxing in what you like.!
Fury and Wilder in the first fight Fury hit him 3 or 4 to to 1 Wilder needed a ko really not a knock down. I think most people enjoyed the first fight very rarely rematches live up to expectations.

Fury is going to be fitter and he says he will let more power punches go.
Wilder is more than capable of throwing more jabs and being busier with the ATOMIC BOMBS.
This really is a very interesting fight and very hard to pick due to the fact both fighters should have learned from fighting each other.
Wouldn't be surprised if the fight goes to either man, but if I have to pick a winner I will say Wilder inside 11.

I'm not sure about Fury's tactics that more weight will absorb Wilder's heavy punches? The closer we get to this fight and having watched the first fight again i'm leaning more to Wilder. Fury out-boxed him last time, but still got caught twice, i have a nasty feeling if he gets caught just once by Wilder in this fight he won't beat the count. Fury must land big in the first few rounds or face and ugly ending.
