Wilder will never be the real HW champion unless he fights and defeats Joshua

Wilder has nearly made 11 defences which surprised me for a one dimensional champion.

Right: chinny journeyman Szpilka, shot Arreola, faded old inactive Stiverne, Breazeale (Joshua's leftover), Duhapas, old age 50 Ortiz, etc.

Not a single win over a PRIME top ten heavyweight.

AJ is the one who has avoided the unification fight more than Wilder. I think that AJ will avoid the winner for a bit longer. He is a cash cow for Sky and Eddie.

No. Wilder turned down a $100 million offer to fight Joshua.

Wilder has recently said he will not fight Joshua if he defeats Fury.

And you conveniently left Fury off the list of Wilder’s opponents who is better than anybody that AJ has faced. AJ doesn’t have much better resume than Wilder. They are probably on par with each other. Maybe AJ has tough a little better competition, but not by much.

I by no means think that Wilder is hands down the best, but it’s undeniable that Wilder will be the HW to best if he beats Fury tonight. AJ will not. You may think that AJ will beat Wilder, but that does not mean that Wilder won’t be regarded as the best HW in the world.

Everyone is having trouble picking a winner in tonight's fight. That's because these two guys of contrasting styles are the top 2 heavyweights in the world.

I would pick them both to be clear winners over AJ.

Geeez guys....... we don't really want to rehash who ducked who in the Wilder-Joshua melodrama.... right?

Fact is....... Fury swooped in and got the fight vs Wilder in short order. Joshua was left out in the cold, looking in.

No way does this make Joshua look better than Wilder in retrospect. Fury in fact said... "You gonna keep pussy-footing around, AJ? Look how fast I make a fight with Wilder, while you sit in the corner whining."

In the end, Wilder came off looking like the "duckee" rather than the "ducker" in the Joshua drama.

The most you can say should Wilder go out and torch Fury in spectacular fashion is that he needed a do-over to get it done. But Joshua lost massive mojo in the way he was destroyed by Ruiz the first time. And spending so much time trying to pin down a lukewarm Pulev match isn't helping. What's expected by Wilder is a highlight KO and yes AJ also got it right in #2 but..and the fight hasn't even happened yet ....the manner and means they get it done will have been night and day. Now if Wilder goes out and Peter Pans it with a twinkle toe mobile jab jab keep away show then I'll eat my shoe and write the division off . Until one of the two defeats the other there is no best or 'real' heavyweight champ. Just fandom some over hyping and their social media bickering that is going on years.

Joshua camp may view that as lots of money for lesser risk, now that Fury has shown the way.

Wilder may want a fight or two before that happens.
