There is no need for a 3rd match. Fury has out boxed Wilder in the first fight and now beat up him up in the rematch. The only reason for the 3rd fight is to earn big money whilst waiting for AJ.

If Fury was outboxing Wilder and Wilder landed one big punch and ended it then yeah give Fury the chance in a third fight to get the win
If Fury outboxed Wilder for 12 rounds and got the win they yeah give Wilder the chance in a third fight to land that big right hand and get the win
Fury comprehensively beat Wilder, not only outboxed him but outpunched and stopped him as well, the questions have been answered for the fans, no need to do it again, if they have a 3rd they may as well have a 4th and 5th

Joshua and wilder missed their window. Serves them both right for what would have been a huge payday

I don't see the point in Wilder 3, at least not immediately
Fury has proved beyond doubt that he is better than Wilder.
He took the first fight when he wasn't ready, got off the floor twice and still beat Wilder, despite not getting the decision.
He dominated Wilder in the rematch and the corner were right to throw in the towel as Deontay was struggling well before that.
A third fight will prove nothing.
I'd like to see Fury V Joshua by the end of the year for all the trinkets.
It's about time we had an undisputed HW champion.

I'd imagine most of the media pundits went for Wilder to win by KO.
Based on what actually happened, a rematch may not be attractive right now.
2 things.
1. What will Wilder do differently?
2. Wilder is 35 years old.
IF he continues, the rematch is his only choice. He might think of it as his pension fight, 40% of the purse already agreed and ride off into the sunset.
If Hearn tempts Fury (if they want it.) then Wilder is done. He’s too old to wait around and he’s not gonna earn his way up beating contenders.
There is a possible curve ball. Hearn may offer Wilder a big money fight with Joshua.
They could still market it into big money (Wilder wasn’t his best, the ear made all the difference, his baddie ankle, blah, blah.) bullshit sells.
Why would Hearn do this?
1. To stop AJ being on the periphery and stay relevant.
2. Because they fancy the job.
3. Because they don’t fancy the Fury job. So it puts Fury on the periphery and they hope that with idle time and frustration, Fury self destructs with his “bi-polar mental fragility.”

Anyone who wants Deontay to fight a third fight after seeing that is a cold heartless SOB, and I include his team in that. The guy was bleeding from the mouth and ear and will be psychologically crushed and Fury will be the overwhelming favorite in a third fight. It's borderline dangerous. Boxing is risky enough as it is, Deontay apparently made a load of money from this fight and risking your health is not worth if for a few more mil. I think PBC wants a cash out
A fully fit Tyson Fury was the first elite level opponent Wilder had faced in over 40 fights, and we saw what happened. He doesn't really belong at that level, and he never will.
But boxing is a business. So he's gonna want to take the 3rd fight. He just made 28 million & that doesn’t include the 50% of all other revenue yet. He will get 40% guaranteed for the 3rd fight. When is he going to make 20-30 million again if he doesn’t take it ? I don’t think he would really care if he lost again. Would you ?
Taking the immediate rematch secures his family, especially when Arum is saying if he doesn’t take it, the opportunity may not be there to fight Fury again. IMO if he feels like he still has something to prove then he needs to rebuild, which will be the biggest rebuilding job ever but that's the only sensible option. Fire trainers and management or at least hire an Abel Sanchez type trainer who'd help work on inside fight game uppercuts.
But although I feel he'll sign for the fight, I still think the fight won't happen. In fact I'll be amazed if it happens. A way will be worked out behind the scenes for it not to happen and for Wilder to save face.
