Also, I'm 21 now and never had much trouble getting into bars before, it's easy and cheap to get a fake ID and almost everyone I knew had them.
College is pretty much a joke too depending on what degree you want. I'm getting a degree in psychology right now from a fairly highly respected university and for the most part just have to cram the night before to get a good grade.
What do you mean hard to find work? It's easy to find something that'll get you $7-$15 an hour, but you need a degree to make over $40,000 a year (for the most part).
Never had to use the health care aspect so dont know! But I know you need insurance b/c it's impossible to pay a hospital bill without one.. I've even heard of some people going to Canada or someplace in Asia (can't think of where) b/c they can pay for an operation out of pocket and it costs less than half of what it would in the US for just as good quality.
America is really the "Land of Capitalism" not the land of oppourtunity. There are lot's of underlying fault's to the system...everything is controlled by the media, loss of sense of community, and lots of cut-throat business tactics to maximize profits no matter what the cost. Anyone CAN make it to the top, but you have to walk on a lot of people to get there.
