It is easy to forget when you have others like your family to think about mate. It will not be easy but it is in their interest too that you keep well. Time to dig out the old LP's before the Mrs reminds you of all the DIY jobs that need doing around the house.
You can still go for a walk if you keep a safe distance from people. I went and walked one of the beachs here on Monday for my head as much as my heart and lungs.
Keep safe and well.
I forgot I am vulnerable with my medical problems guys it never dawned on me this is serious stuff I hope you all keep well and your families all stay safe and well.đ
You should be careful, Dia with your conditions. Really anyone with existing lung issues, undergoing chemo, etc which is a lot of people need to be extra careful. Elderly men suffer the most and it is likely smoking connected. Also, even in China only 14% of the elderly died. They would possibly have died had it been something else too like pneumonia. Old people die and that's life or perhaps death. Few will ever die peacefully in their bed. The issue for people with chemo is that they need to venture out and get to those hospitals, but many ordinary older people can really stay home without too much bother. Even going to a hospital is not that much of a risk. If your town has say 8 cases, then you unlikely to catch anything. It's a numbers game and the odds are heavily in your favor, so one should not freak out too much. In that sense the 63% of Americans who think the media is milking it are somewhat correct. One should be cautious, but one should not overreact. I think it makes people aware of what is coming which is death and many do not want to consider that possibility. That's why I don't freak out so much.
Italy probably scares people but the truth is they sacrificing old people as their system simply cannot cope. It is the government choosing to kill them at this stage.
The reality of the situation has come to me I have been in my garden emptied the shed cleaned it out I have planned out what jobs I have to do books to read etc.
There you go! There is always an upside. Stay positive Dia. Do the things you like to do and think of it as a breather. The Plague by Albert Camus is a good one for these times. And The Strange Death of Europe by the impeccably charming and well dressed Douglas Murray.
You lot live in nice places. If I fell over outside my house people would step over me or kick me for being in their way... after rinsing my pockets.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I guess you are right old mining village everybody looked out for each other.
Fenster mate take care of yourself this a bad stuff hopefully we will come out of this situation in one piece and healthy.
A mate in work has two lads in there 20s both with CF they are self isolated for a few weeks now shit if they got it.
It seems NHS staff can go to Tesco's and M&S to shop a hour earlier this is good news for my wife and daughter now I am isolated so no chance of me going out and about in supermarkets I would be a fool.
Of course I am staying in mate after the guide lines if you have any underlying health problems I forgot I have ninty percent lung capacity after my diaphragm problem that was coursed by a virus.!
This morning take my motorcycle out the shed cleaned out the shed then cut the back lawn.
