I dunno, I didn't mind either Fat Dan or Max. Though Dan def comes off as more a bloviating suit trying to bury his nose in the cheeks of the party line or favs and disregarding anything else. Never really put much stock into disliking him as if I disagreed or thought it nutty I just stopped reading. I'll admit to apparently being one of the few who like Max more. Sure he's a wide eyed dork glued to stat books, maybe takes 'stories' as cemented historical facts and repeats himself but he goes way back and earned his way through. I just wonder if this is another step off the ESPN boxing front. Fat Dan was fat, probably smells like burned sausage and glued to a script but kept some wheels turning on dates, events etc. Just hope ESPN doesn't try to feed in some Ufc/boxing blend 'journalist'. They can do both.
